Since its founding in 1983, Architectural Design has developed into one of the busiest in the area with a diverse portfolio that covers a wide spectrum of project types.  The majority of our works are within a thirty-mile radius of Macclesfield and include new and conversion projects in the Peak National Park, Cheshire, Staffordshire and around the South Manchester conurbation.

Although Architectural Design are known more for their domestic portfolio, the company does have a significant record in other sectors with its in-house resource of designers and technicians who have a great deal of experience in a wide range of project types including residential, sheltered housing, leisure, industrial and commercial.

Projects that have progressed to site through our office during the past year or so have included:

A large new dwelling to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 standards near Prestbury (due for completion 2012)

A new build contemporary, highly insulated, efficient dwelling for a private client near Congleton (nearing completion)

A stone-built 400m² five-bedroom house near Macclesfield in the Peak National Park (nearing completion) and the renovation of a country mansion near Handforth (completed 2010) for local company 'Cheshire Demolition'
